Are you looking for a gentler approach to increasing strength and gaining balance, increasing your energy and reducing stress? Then this class is for you!
We will focus on a relaxed pace and a simpler approach to the poses. This class incorporates the use of chairs for support, breathing (pranayama), joints and glands, and restorative yoga. Lucy will guide you into each pose to safely strengthen, tone and stabilize the body.
Every class ends with deep guided relaxation or Meditation.
This class is perfect for beginners, people with fibromyalgia, joint or back problems, experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class or those with post- traumatic stress disorder.
Chairs will be used for this class. Please have one available. If possible, bring 2-4 inch yoga blocks, a pillow or bolster, blanket and a strap.
